My reviews of some of the skincare products out there. Remember everyone's skin is different what works for me won't necessarily work for you and vice versa. Just so you know I have incredibly sensitive skin so only one or two brands don't bring me out in a rash! :)
Simple:
Simple Kind To Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion: I like this. It cleanses my skin really well and it's one of the few brands that doesn't irritate my skin.
Simple Kind To Skin Soothing Facial Toner: Good, easy to use, makes my skin feel great.
Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser: Quick and easy to use and makes my skin feel wonderful.
I got mine from Tescos (I love Tescos :D) but these products are also available from Superdrug and Boots.
Tesco Value:
Tesco Clear Skin Exfoliating Facial Wipes: Very cheap :) and all you have to do is wipe it across your face - takes about 5 seconds. Not too rough for my skin either.
These are from Tescos obviously.
Clearasil:
Clearasil Face Wash, Moisturiser and Face Scrub: These are NOT for sensitive skin! They brought me out in a rash that didn't go away for weeks! Although if you don't have sensitive skin I've heard Clearasil products work a treat.
Available from Boots and Superdrug.
Tea Tree:
Tea Tree Spot Stick: Easy to use - you just dab a bit on the spots. My spots were visibally reduced after just the first application. Downside is that if you put too much on your eyes will start to water and it smells - like the shampoo stuff you put in your hair to get rid of nits.
Tea Tree Blended Oil: It reduces the size of spots really well but it's only a tiny amount of the liquid in the bottle. It also makes your skin feel and look greasy - I recommend only using this at night about 10 or 20 mins atleast before you go to bed so it can sink into your skin and not stain the bedding.
But despite the downside of these products you should buy them (or atleast the spot stick) they work amazing and many other people have said the same so they probably work for most skin types.
Available from Boots and Superdrug.
After about the third or fourth time I'd used these those they didn't seem to make a difference.
Sudocrem:
This really works! Applying it doesn't look or feel great but it's amazing! Overnight it'll reduce your spot size alot and it continues to work! I suggest this product!
Just ask me if you want any other products reviewed - I'll see if I can find them. But only ones available in the UK please!
